Meridian Hill 2000 and 9

Well, it’s 2009 and I’ve just moved back to D.C.! Barack Obama has taken office and it’s a great time to be here. I have moved into a new apartment in the 20009 zip code, in an area best characterized by the local landmark: Meridian Hill Park. The park, also known as Malcom X Park, has a fascinating history and the hill itself is perfect for bombing on a skateboard! The Meridian Hill 2000 and 9 blog will include some thematic content and is for the most part locally related but it is open to anyone, and I encourage everyone to read and contribute!
